Brain Stems is a joint operation run by Mike and Jan Scaddan. Based in Tauranga, New Zealand, we tailor make our programmes to meet your individual and group needs offering advice about brain compatible learning based upon neuro, cognitive and behavioural science.

Mike has a Masters Degree from the University of Tasmania specialising in brain compatible and accelerated learning. He is an international author and presenter and has worked across four continents. Mike offers 23 individual whole day workshops as well as shorter programmes developed to meet your individual needs

Jan has a Bachelors degree also in Brain Compatible learning and specialises in special needs and ESOL. She tailor makes her sessions for individual learners using combinations of innovative movement and learning strategies
